An Estuary and Kiker Learning Announce Google Apps for Education Professional Development Partnership
Baltimore, MD — Technology startup An Estuary and top-rated Google-certified training firm Kiker Learning have announced a partnership to develop and deliver online professional development courses for educators in the Google Apps for Education ecosystem.
An Estuary is the Baltimore-based firm building Sanderling, the social platform for professional development. Released to the public in February 2014, the platform blends a professional social network with an on-demand online learning environment.
Kiker Learning provides professional development across the Google ecosystem. In the last year, the firm has worked in nearly thirty school districts and is the highest rated education specialist in the Google Apps for Education marketplace.
“We are thrilled to be working with Kiker Learning in developing and delivering a new generation of professional development courses,” said Shelly Blake-Plock, CEO of An Estuary.
Rich Kiker from Kiker Learning added, “The opportunity to build high quality online and blended learning content with autonomy for teachers is something I am particularly excited about. Also, the new Sanderling social platform is clean and easy to work with which knocks down barriers to entry for educators going Google.”
Courses will be available in asynchronous and blended formats beginning in May 2014.
