One of my favorite things to do is listen to people talk about their problems.
Honestly. And, no, I don't think I'm a masochist. I just like to hear people describe their problems. And yes, maybe I should have studied more back in school and become a therapist.
One way or the other, I love hearing people describe their problems.
Because without problems, there are no solutions. No soul searching middle of the night. No eurekas. No a-ha.
Problems are the solution.
Without problems, we are nothing more than the funny-looking apes with the fancy thumbs.
A problem common to PD is that the folks "delivering" the PD (as though it were mailed in) often focus on solutions. No matter what your problem is.
That's a problem.
But it's one we can fix. In fact, the solution to that problem... is to forget the solution and find the deeper problem.
More problems, please.
Look for the problem. Embrace the problem. Be thankful for the problem.
The problem will tell you all you need to know.
